Michael Brown, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Birch Cove Group, Ltd., is a Registered Principal of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and an Investment Management Consultant. He began his career in 1985, and brings more than 25 years of experience to his work as a financial advisor.
Mike knows exactly what is required to recognize, address and ultimately solve clients’ financial challenges. He believes truly comprehensive wealth management requires a deep client relationship as well as a complete understanding of the client’s financial goals and dreams.
Mike also works with a network of professionals in a variety of disciplines, including income tax, trusts and estates, risk management and charitable giving, among others. His relationships with these specialists enable Mike to help clients find the most suitable approach to any challenge.
Mike, whose father was a pioneer in the financial planning industry, grew up in the Twin Cities. He lives there today with his wife, Lynn, and three children. Lynn is an active volunteer and non-profit board member. The family shares many interests, including sailing, skiing and golf.

Robert Bjork, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Birch Cove Group, Ltd., is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Registered Principal of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. He started his career in the financial services industry in 1981, first as a solo practitioner and then in partnerships to best serve his clients.
Today, Robert’s practice revolves around diligent investment management and personal financial planning for high net worth individuals. He currently manages 80 active financial plans, including client and estate assets.
Robert is a lifelong Twin Cities resident. He lives in Plymouth with his wife Beth, a consulting physical therapist, and their three children. Robert is actively involved in his church community, is a volunteer board member for nonprofits, and an avid golfer. He also enjoys reading and travel.
